The ACS Sunday team plays using the Golden Oldies mentality; where everyone who is able bowls, and batsmen retire at 30 if they haven’t been dismissed – to return after everyone else has had a chance to bat. The aim is to keep the comradeship and enjoyment of playing cricket alive, and gives everyone a chance to relive the stories from their own glory days. The ‘home’ team for each of these games usually puts on a lunch and/ or dinner. For ACS home games there is a $20 match fee which is used to help cover catering. ACS home games are scheduled to be at Te Atatu Park on grass whenever possible.

The ACS Sunday team is open to any registered member of the Cricket Society.
